From Day One, Cristina Dougherty made the whole process of selling my mother-in-law's home easy and seamless, even though our situation was a bit complicated. She understood our needs immediately and knew exactly how to get it done. The 50-year-old house needed a fix-up before we could put it on the market, and at our first meeting she put us in touch with a remodeler that was perfect for the job. Her marketing strategy was right on point, and we were very confident in her sales approach and her sales record, and the house sold within a few days.. What really impressed us was how she came through after the buyer's inspection. There was a long list of items to be taken care of before closing (50-year-old home, right?), and that list came out as my husband and I were literally at the airport leaving on a 2-week overseas trip. Cristina took care of everything while we were gone, from getting estimates to scheduling contractors to taking care of my mother in-law through all of it. She truly went above and beyond for us! She was always very responsive to our calls and questions, extremely patient, never pushy and very approachable. Cristina not only listed our Town home, but also represented us in the purchase of a new home. She lived in the area we wanted to buy in and was very knowledgeable about pricing in the area, schools and the community. Simply put, Cristina is the quintessential real estate agent, she sets the bar that all others in this field should aspire to achieve. When we first met with Cristina, we were impressed by her marketing plan for our house. We’ve bought and sold several homes during a 24 year military career and had some terrible experiences with realtors. Cristina put us at ease with her knowledge of the current market and recommendations on when to list our house. Cristina Dougherty and her team did another great job with my Fairfax property. She listed it at the appropriate price and negotiated the price 11k over asking price. It was the highest price, ever sold for that model, in the neighborhood.

The closing only took 2.5 weeks and the house was only listed for 3.5 days until ratified contract.
